The Clare Youth Service is set to benefit from €36,680 in Government funding, Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey has confirmed.
“The money, which was approved for staff-led youth projects and services, will help young people to develop skills, gain new experiences and build self-confidence,” he said.
“The Clare Youth Service provides exceptional levels of engagement and support and I am confident these grants will assist in improving the quality of the services to the benefit of young people throughout the county.
“This year alone, we are investing a total of €63.6 million in current and capital funding in clubs, services and supports for young people,” Deputy Carey added.
