Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey has welcomed an allocation of €81,000 to repair walls, strengthen and reinforce embankment with rock armour at Aughinish Island, New Quay.
The funding, which will be administered by Clare County Council, was approved by Minister of State Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran who has responsibility for the Office of Public Works.
